The sound of me breaking into pieces

Women in Middle East always confront with different challenges. Some of these challenges break them, make them cry and hurt them, some make them more powerful. With all these challenges and feelings, they never give up and continue chasing their dreams. The sound of me breaking into pieces is a photo performance and a narrative of women in Middle East, especially in Afghanistan. I, as the main subject of this collection, break the mirrors and continue to keep connective with them. I makeup and pose in front of the mirrors. It shows that I still try to enjoy even from breaking and living with them – just like every woman in the Middle East and every woman who face restrictions in all around the world.
